At J’s Lanes, we are more than just a bowling alley – we are a hub for community involvement and celebration. Since the 1950s, we have been providing local Harvard, IL bowlers – amateurs to pros – with food, drinks, games, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We have space for parties, fundraisers, and other special events, so come on in and celebrate in style!

About Us
Harvard Bowl opened its doors in 1957. Elvis and Carolyn Henson acquired the property in 2013 with a vision to return it to its former glory and bring back a staple to the Harvard community. Renovations were completed in 2015 and the alley was reopened as J’s Lanes, family owned and operated.
J’s Lanes is a proud supporter of the Harvard community sponsoring many local organizations throughout the year. We also are the home of the Harvard High School bowling program.

2023 Holiday Hours:
Closed Thanksgiving Day; Open 9 am – 5 pm, Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day
Thursday Night Mixed League
Bar, kitchen, and game room open, no open bowling after 5:00 PM.
Sunday Couples League
Bar, kitchen, and game room open, no open bowling after 5:00 PM.
Every other Sunday – Bar, kitchen, and game room open, no open bowling between 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
*Our leagues run from the beginning of September until the end of March
